Terms & Conditions

Our trading address is Heart of Wood, Unit 2 Linton Trading Estate, Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7 4QT. Please read these carefully as they may affect your rights and liabilities. We reserve the right to change and update them from time to time so we advise you to revisit these pages regularly to be kept informed.

Accuracy of content

We will make every effort to describe and show products as accurately as possible. Despite this due to the nature of the natural products (timber & ironmongery) we sell they may vary slightly in colour and variations of grain, knots and sapwood. If by mistake we have under priced an item we shall not be liable to supply that product to you at that price, provided we notify you the correct price before we dispatch. You can then decided whether or not you wish to order that product at that price.

Stock Availability

We will strive to ensure that we have adequate stock of all products. At certain times some products may however be out of stock, and although we will try to get stock replenished it is not always possible and may be out of our control.In order to ensure we have the products in stock we recommend phoning or emailing our office to check 01885 483083 email: Karen@heartofwood.co.uk All prices shown are pounds sterling and inclusive of vat at the current rate.

Orders

All orders placed after 3:30pm on Friday or over the weekend will be processed on Monday. We will only deliver items ordered by you to the delivery address stated on the form.All orders must be checked and signed for, any damages or faults must be reported to us within 48 hours by email.

Delivery

All items must be paid for before delivery. All carriers will require a signature unless we are requested to leave the parcel safe – in this instance as soon as the driver has left the parcel it becomes your responsibility and we are not liable for either damage or missing parcels. We will endeavour to dispatch your order within 24 hours but please allow up to 5 working days for delivery, unless advised otherwise.

We will only deliver to curb side locations unless otherwise arranged and agreed by us. To enable us to do this successfully they must be stored in a adequate place where it is dry and secure. Failure to adhere to these conditions will cause damage to your goods and will not be covered. On the receipt of wooden doors and oak boards please store flat and on at least three bearers. All timber goods and ironmongery will have protective packaging.

Cancellations & Returns

Under the consumer protections regulations you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund. If you should wish to return the products they must be done so by 14 days of receipt in the same conditions as oit was delivered. The goods must be returned in their original packaging. Goods which are not returned in saleable conditions may be refused a full refund. All products will be liable for a restocking charge of 10% of their purchase price.

All products remain the property of Heart of Wood until full payment as been received.
